London artist Flor Panichelli is the woman behind Sweet Beastiary, home to woodland figures and vintage finger puppets. Panichelli hand-sculpts each character in paper mache and air-drying clay, then hand paints them with acrylic. Looking at these I am reminded of a cross-pollination of beloved childhood animations — The Wind In The Willows, and The Magic Pony. You can find more at her blog and Flickr.
