I just completed a logo for a new blog (not mine, more info to come) dedicated to what will hopefully evolve into a Detroit Renaissance. These images from Sweet Juniper are reminiscent of what I've seen coming out of New Orleans, now just past it's 4-year anniversary. Financial crises and natural disasters can appear as sisters — sometimes new growth is no more than the consumption of fruitless vestiges. Let us hope they make fertile compost.
Sweet Juniper is run by Jim and Wood, two parents raising two kids in Detroit and keeping a beautiful blog to boot. Jim's card actually reads: Gentleman of Elegant Leisure.
