This is essentially an inspiration homage to my dear friend Ali who, along with her conspirator Megan, has always dreamed of opening a shop of miraculous finds. Anyone can open an antique shop, but it takes a real eye to wade through the oddments.
White Elephant Vintage started as an online shop run by friends and collector junkies Hollie Pocsai and Jane LaBatte in 2007. In 2008 they opened an honest to goodness physical shop in Hamilton, Ontario, full of paraphernalia of a well-aged constitution. Here are some noteworthy (sold) items. [via notcot]
